The Colossus

As a teenager in the coal city of the late 80s and early 90s, the name Conrad Bosah was not unfamiliar. Having heard that name uncountable times in the media, I was privileged to meet him in person when his beautiful wife hired me to render extramural classes in maths to their two older children; Collette the one who resembled her father and her immediate younger one whose name I do not remember now. The year was 1990 at their home in Independence layout, Enugu.
His presence commanded awe and inspiration he never knew I garnered from our engagement. I remember promising myself that I too would become successful in life after he gave me a ride on a rainy day.
My heartfelt condolences to his lovely wife, children and family members. I am pleased to see the children have grown and the wife looking lovely as ever. I hope they still remember the poor teenage teacher from Obiagu road.
May the soul of Sir Conrad Bosah (whose passing I just got to know about moments ago) rest in peace. I pray the Lord God of heaven would continue to comfort the family.
I would like to reestablish contact with my former students and their mother. My email address is: efosanoble@yahoo.com
